Malarone (Atovaquone and Proguanil)
Malarone (Atovaquone and Proguanil) is suitable for use in areas where Falciparum Malaria is present. Malarone (Atovaquone and Proguanil) is most commonly used if you are visiting Malaria regions in Africa, Asia and South America.
TABLET: Malarone
COURSE: 1 Tablet Daily
How to take
Start the Malarone course 1/2 days before arriving in an area which has Malaria. Take one Malarone tablet daily. Continue taking these tablets every day throughout your stay. Ensure you continue to take the Malarone tablets for a further 7 days after your return to a Malaria free area.
